Mouth Full of Diamonds

This painting tells a story of learning forgiveness and how to show ourselves grace, from moments of foolishness. Finding peace within because we were honest and genuine—despite what the intentions of others might have been. Partially inspired by the lyrics of the same title, by the band Phantogram.

This is a mixed media and resin painting on circular, framed in wood panel. This piece has a focal point of bright blue deep under the layers of gold and black, like an eye looking into the world. Swirls of thread can be seen throughout this piece, connecting elements together. Features ink, acrylic paint, spray paint, gold leaf, thread and resin.
